Description

Yorkshire and the Humber Leadership Academy warmly invite health and care Communities of Practice to take part in the Co-Creation Network's Winter Basecamp 2018.

This Basecamp will focus on helping Communities of Practice to reach the next stage of their maturity, whatever that may be.

All are welcome to attend the Co-Creation Network Winter Basecamp; we recommend that where possible and practical, at least three members of each (established or potential) Community of Practice attend to make the most out of the space and time to meet on the 27th February.

Basecamp events are designed to introduce and welcome new members to the Co-Creation Network, answering questions about what it is and why it came about, plus how Communities of Practice work. The events allow the Network to see itself and give members the time to reconnect and strengthen their relationships in their Communities and across the Network too. In sharing stories and sessions provided by Network members, it can sustain and self manage, providing tools, tips, research, evidence and techniques that Communities need to maintain momentum regardless of their domain.

Working in partnership, Yorkshire and the Humber Leadership Academy provide a range of offers to the NHS to create excellent leadership and excellent organisations, transforming systems together.

Our regional offer has been informed by a significant consultation exercise with a wide and diverse range of stakeholders across Yorkshire and the Humber. We asked questions to understand the current and future leadership challenges and what those challenges meant for leadership development. It was clear to us that the region wanted more opportunities to learn and develop together while engaged in real work.

As the Local Leadership Academy (LLA) for the NHS Leadership Academy, we provide access in the region to a suite of high quality core leadership development programmes and tools that aim to professionalise leadership across the NHS, including the Graduate Management Trainee Scheme.

Developed with national and international experts, this offer provides a valuable and consistent leadership development offer that gives individuals the necessary support to be the best leaders they can.
